01-0012 Datalogger ID not available: Data-/Hybrid manager is already active in an existing system. If this is the case, error 01-0012 is displayed in the user interface, you will require further diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

65000: DC connection between inverter and battery interrupted The status message 65000 is sent by the Symo Hybrid if there is no connection between the inverter and the storage system or if it has been interrupted. First, make sure your Symo Hybrid has the latest firmware installed. Learn here how to update via Solar.web. Otherwise, reboot the storage system: Disconnect the inverter first on the AC side (solar supply main switch), then on the DC side (switch on the inverter). Turn off the storage. Wait about 30 seconds. The inverter must be completely dark. No LED may light up anymore. Turn the storage back on. When the storage has started up (after about 30 seconds), switch the inverter back on (AC and DC side), if this does not reslove the issue you will require further diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Stand alone operation detected: Acknowledge fault code, shutdown inverter, restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Check 'Solar Supply Main Switch' is ON; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

AC grid outside the permissible safe limit! This identifies an issue with the grid supply to your property which can be dangerous, your inverter has responded by shutting down. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

AC grid polarity fault! This identifies an issue with the grid polarity which can be dangerous, your inverter has responded by shutting down. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Inverter Over Temperature: This fault indicates the inverter internal temperature is exceeding safe limits, this is often shown on hot days unless the inverter is incorrectly reading a high temperature. Acknowledge fault code, shutdown inverter, restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

EEPROM Failure: Reading or writing of EEPROM has failed

Relay Failure: Output relay has failed to connect, this is generally caused by grid surge or inverter electronic failure - the inverter relay is not able to connect to the grid

No feed in operation for 24 hours: Acknowledge fault code, shutdown inverter, restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

After 24 hours of energy continuously being fed into the grid, an insulation measurement must be carried out. This is a normative specification. Grid power feed operation is not possible during the insulation measurement. After the insulation measurement, the inverter starts feeding energy into the grid again - no additional measures are required.

Inverter Clock Failure: This fault indicates the inverter CPU clock has lost time, this is often shown when the BIOS battery has failed. Acknowledge fault code, shutdown inverter, restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Internal CPU Failure: Communication between the master and slave CPU has failed

Isolation fault/Ground fault: this indicates voltage has been detected by the earthing system

PV Undervoltage: This fault indicates the array voltage is below inverter MPPT range, this is often shown in twilight hours when the sun is low in the sky, unless the inverter is incorrectly reading a low input voltage and needs to be repaired.

Extreme risk identified! Shutdown inverter immediately, you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Technician Required! Your solar system requires on-site diagnosis from a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Battery Communication Lost: Shutdown hybrid solar system (including battery), restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Acknowledge fault code, shutdown inverter, restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Inverter Commissioning Error: This fault indicates a failed commissioning process or CPU internal error. Acknowledge fault code, shutdown inverter, restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Emergency Stop Activated: Reset emergency stop, restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Inverter Monitoring Lost: Check Wifi router signal strength, restart router. IF YOU HAVE RECENTLY INSTALLED NBN OR CHANGED WIFI PASSWORD YOU MUST UPDATE INVERTER WIFI SETUP. Shutdown inverter, restart after 2 mins; If fault code remains you will require on-site diagnosis by a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Technician Required! Your solar inverter output is derating, this requires on-site diagnosis from a trained Swift Solar Repairs technician. Contact us immediately to resolve this issue.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I have my solar system serviced?
Due to the extreme weather conditions in Australia, most manufactures recommend a licensed electrician services your system once every 12 months, in some cases this is required for warranty upkeep. See more about solar servicing.
